Checking the car

Before the driving test, the examiner will start by asking you some questions to check the car. This is to ensure that you know how (without the use of tools) to check if a car is safe and legal to drive, remembering that it is your responsibility as the driver of the vehicle.

Many students dread the questions, but don’t worry. It’s not a mechanic exam, but more to ensure that all drivers have a basic knowledge of tires, lights, shock absorbers, etc.

Here is a link to a video that is good for you to watch before the driving test. This video is good because it covers everything you might be asked about in the technical area. We also go through the school car before the driving test, so you are sure to be able to do it.
